Gefen's new 4x4 HDMI CAT-5 Matrix comes equipped with four HDMI inputs and four HDMI/CAT-5 outputs. According to the company, any one of the four sources can be assigned to one of the four outputs and extended up to 330 feet with full HDCP-compliance using an IR remote control. The switcher works with all set top boxes, HD DVD, and Blu-Ray disk players and game systems as well as HDTV displays and projectors equipped with HDMI. Each of four receivers can be placed up to 330 feet from the unit. With the 4x4 HDMI CAT-5 Matrix, HDTV sources and displays are integrated in plug and play fashion, while high-definition resolutions are supported up to 1080p. Price: $1,999.
