RION's DA-20 four-channel, solid-state data recorder records electronic signals and waveform data for audio recording and onsite sound and vibration measurement. The recorder incorporates transducers that can be used to include constant-current electret condenser mics and single- and tri-axis accelerometers. The device stores measurement data on a memory card in WAV format, and can reproduce it as analog signal or output it to an external signal analyzer. Its input section has an 80 dB dynamic range, and its recording section provides frequency ranges of 100 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 5 kHz, 10kHz, and 20 kHz. The device uses four IEC LR6 alkaline batteries that last up to 10 hours, depending on configuration. The recorder is also available with an optional waveform analysis software package. Price: N/A.
