Gefen has introduced the HD-SDI-to-DVI scaler and the DVI-to-HD-SDI scaler (pictured here) for up-/downscaling of standard- and high-definition resolutions. Both models support single-and dual-link DVI and SDI modes and can be up-/downscaled and output in resolutions up to 1080p. Both models incorporate Gennum GF9351 image processors, as well as an optional RS232 port. Price: $1,299 (DVI-to-HD-SDI); $1,049 (HD-SDI-to-DVI). Availability: currently available (both models).
