Panasonic Projector Systems Co. introduced the PT-AE3000, a full HD projector for home theater enthusiasts. The 1080p projector delivers 1,600 lumens of brightness and a 60,000:1 contrast ratio via Pure Contrast Plate technology, which blocks unwanted light from the path of projection, the company says. The Lens Memory Load feature adjusts the projector to different widescreen movie formats, like 21:9 or 16:9, by memorizing and restoring zoom/focus positions.
