Russound introduced the CA4 kit, a four-source/four-zone controller amplifier for multiroom audio systems. The kit includes a CA4 controller amplifier, four CA4-KP keypads, a system remote control, and a wall port. Featuring digital amplification, the CA4 has a slim chassis design and separate bass and treble controls for each of the zones. Source grouping unifies the zones based on user preferences, while a special Party Mode temporarily designates a single keypad as the master control of all of the keypads in the system. The kit's wall port is connected to the controller through four Cat-5 patch cables, which creates a clean installation with no termination plates on the wall. Price: $1,100.
