Crestron rolled out a series of network solutions that use Power over Ethernet (PoE). The CEN-WAP-ABG-1G wireless access point enables Wi-Fi communication for a variety of Crestron devices from any location within a home. According to the company, its PoE feature allows it to be installed anywhere with a LAN gateway, even if there is no electrical outlet nearby. The CEN-NVS100 MJPG encoder converts full-motion, high-resolution video to streaming media as either MJPG or MJPG4 signals for viewing on the Crestron TPMC-8X Wi-Fi touch panel.
