Break-Out Box: BSS Audio BLU-BOB
BSS Audio has introduced a new break-out box for its Soundweb family of digital signal processors.
BSS Audio has introduced a new break-out box for its Soundweb family of digital signal processors. The BLU-BOB output expander is a cost-effective way to accommodate the increasing number of outputs in a Harman HiQnet system, according to the company. It has eight analog audio outputs on standard terminal block connectors and a 256-channel, low-latency, fault-tolerant audio bus. The audio bus uses standard Cat-5e or Cat-6 cables to support distances of about 100 meters between devices. The new box comes in two chassis styles—the first a half-rank width, desk, or wall-mounted version; the second a 19-inch single-rack width with mounting ears. Price: Contact vendor.
