Active DSP Monitors: Genelec DSP 8200

Genelec's DSP 8200 bi-amplified active monitors feature magnetically shielded drivers and the company's DSP technology. The 8240A, which includes a 6.5-inch woofer and a 3/4-inch tweeter, has a 48 Hz to 20 kHz (±1 dB) free-field frequency response and 115 dB peak SPL driven by 90 W amplifiers for each driver. The 8250A (pictured here), which has an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter, features a 38 Hz to 20 kHz free-field frequency response and a 120 dB peak SPL driven by a 150 W amplifier for its low-frequency driver and a 120 W amplifier for its high-frequency driver.
