Designed for portability, it includes nearly 40 video testing patterns, three audio testing signals, a sine-wave formation, and 35 timing settings. According to Gefen, these features allow complete evaluation and calibration of HDTV systems and provide a means of troubleshooting home theater problems. The unit includes a navigational menu via an LCD on top of the unit, but advanced users can download a Windows-based application for extra timing and programming controls.
