Premier Mounts Lend a Helping Arm

Premier Mounts says it developed the STA series of wall arms for short-throw projectors to address a growing need for whiteboard projector mounting solutions in classroom and presentation applications.

Premier Mounts says it developed the STA series of wall arms for short-throw projectors to address a growing need for whiteboard projector mounting solutions in classroom and presentation applications.

"New technology, such as innovative whiteboard technology from Hitachi and Epson, is always exciting for corporate and educational facilities," said Jason Cole, product marketing manager at Premier Mounts, in a statement. "However, integrators often run into the issue of how to make the best use of the new technology or how to place it. By finding innovative and applicable ways to mount these whiteboards, businesses and schools can better use them."

The STA series features swing-out arms that extend to approximately 14 inches. The design allows for cable management within the tubing for a clean appearance and secured installation settings, according to the company.

The new wall arms are designed to universally support whiteboard projectors. Compatible with Premier Mounts' PDS series projector mount, the STA series offers up to 33 degrees of tilt, 15 degrees of roll, and 360 degrees yaw, with more than 12 positive locking positions of a rigid, reliable performance.

Other standard features include support of projectors up to 75 pounds, adaptability to 1.5-inch NPT, the ability to mount to a single stud or multiple studs, and a black powder finish.
