Panasonic Promotes Perry to Executive VP
Panasonic announced the promotion of Robert Perry to executive vice president of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Co. He is responsible for the company's sales, marketing, and product merchandising.
Panasonic announced the promotion of Robert Perry to executive vice president of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Co. As of Jan. 1, 2009, he is responsible for the company's sales, marketing, and product merchandising.
Perry previously served as the company's senior vice president responsible for VIERA plasma and LCD product merchandising.
"Since joining Panasonic last year, Bob has done an outstanding job in revitalizing our VIERA product line, merchandising and stepping up our strategic approach to the market," said Shiro Kitajima, president of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Co., in a statement "I expect that, with his expanded role within Panasonic, Bob will now be able to contribute his leadership to achieving further growth and development in all of our digital products categories."
