NSCA Seeks Nominees, Names Top Educator
The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) released a request for members who have shown exceptional achievements to nominate themselves for NSCA's Excellence in Business Awards.
The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) released a request for members who have shown exceptional achievements to nominate themselves for NSCA's Excellence in Business Awards. The awards will be presented at the 2009 NSCA Business and Leadership Conference, sponsored by InfoComm, February 26-28 in Phoenix.
NSCA encourages systems integrators to nominate themselves or industry peers who have demonstrated outstanding success in the past year in one of several categories, including, growth strategies, professional development, marketing strategies, fiscal responsibility, and others.
"Creativity, vision, flexibility, economic security--these are key to the success of today's integrators," said Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director, in a statement. "NSCA is pleased to promote and recognize integrators who excel in their day-to-day activities."
Submissions are due December 31, 2008. Visit www.nsca.org.
In separate new, NSCA recognized Dan Erickson of General Communications as NSCA University's 2008 Educator of the Year. Erickson received the organization's highest education award based on student feedback from his course, "Networking Issues that Impact AV Integrators and Designers," which he taught for the College of System Design during NSCA University at InfoComm 08.
Individual Instructors of the Year were also awarded for each college within the University. Recipients include:
