NEC Offers Two New Projectors

NEC Display Solutions of America has introduced two new portable projectors for corporate and educational environments.

NEC Display Solutions of America has introduced two new portable projectors for corporate and educational environments.

The NP41 and NP61 provide 2,300 and 3,000 lumens, respectively, while operating at 32 dB in Eco Mode. Quick-start and quick-cooling features reduce setup and teardown times between meetings or classes, and the automatic focus provides a detailed image. Both can automatically detect the source and project the image with auto input selection, while their AutoSense feature syncs the projector with most computer signals. Vertical keystone correction projects a square image even when the projector is set up at an angle.

"The NP41 and NP61 projectors provide the powerful features required by mobile users while remaining lightweight and cost-effective," said Rich McPherson, product manager for NEC, in a statement. "Their automatic features deliver the technological innovation expected of NEC products, delivering bright and brilliant images."

Other features of the NP41 and NP61 digital projectors include a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, XGA 1024x768 resolution, 3.5-pound weight, BrilliantColor Technology, 15-pin input connectors, and HD compatibility.

Both projectors come with a two-year limited parts and labor warranty . The NP61 is scheduled to ship in September with an MSRP of $1,399, while the NP41 will be available in October for an estimated $999.
