Magenta Research has appointed Sally Halpin to the newly created position of northeast regional sales manager. Reporting to national sales manager Dan Smith, Halpin will lead sales efforts in the northeast and is tasked with expanding Magenta's market and mind share in the region.

Halpin brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the computer hardware industry. Prior to joining Magenta, Halpin was business development manager at NEC Display Solutions for New York and New England with a focus on digital signage.
"With the growth of digital signage, digital video applications, and IP solutions on top of Magenta's existing business, resource expansion was necessary," said Smith in a statement. "Combining Sally's wealth of experience and contacts in this region with our existing manufacturer rep firms, we are well positioned to take even greater advantage of our rapid market and technology expansion."
