Electrograph Teams with Hitachi

Electrograph Systems has expanded its relationship with Hitachi Home Electronics America Business Group to provide resellers with a high-margin line of Hitachi Professional Series projectors.

Electrograph Systems has expanded its relationship with Hitachi Home Electronics America Business Group to provide resellers with a high-margin line of Hitachi Professional Series projectors.

"High margins are critical, especially when there are fewer installs out there," said Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, in a statement. "These projectors are available through limited distribution and require authorization to sell. Hitachi and Electrograph are allowing resellers to hold their margins and make a profit, without the concern of Internet or other retail sales competition."

Electrograph is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Hitachi's StarBoard electronic white board products. "Hitachi's StarBoard line is enabling educators to take their teaching methods to a whole new creative level with easy-to-operate pen-driven displays, popular interactive wired and wireless white boards, and even portable freedom tablets," Taylor added.

"With the introduction of the Professional Series, Hitachi is broadening its reach to larger venues and more applications than ever before," said Ray Soltys, director of sales at Hitachi, in a statement.

The Professional Series 3LCD projectors include the CP-WX11000, with WXGA resolution for compatibility with widescreen laptops and HD content. Its 6,500 lumens provide clear images in large conference rooms, lecture halls, or auditoriums.

The CP-X10000 offers 7,500 lumens and XGA resolution, while the CP-SX12000 delivers up to 7,000 lumens and SXGA+ resolution for viewing nearly twice as much content in larger documents and spreadsheets. The projectors are well suited for large venues, command and control, engineering, and CAD/CAM applications where acute resolution of small details is necessary, according to the company.

All three projectors include six changeable bayonet-style lens options for short- and long-throw applications, as well as projector management (PJMan) so users can monitor and control multiple units over a LAN.
