Digital Projection Adds Director of Simulation

Digital Projection (DP) recently named a new director of simulation and visualization. Phil Laney brings more than 13 years of experience in selling display products and integrated display solutions for flight simulation, driving simulation, and planetarium applications, in addition to seven years of IT support-related experience. Laney has already begun working directly within the visualization and simulation market on behalf of DP, according to the company.

Having previously served as market development manager for a large specialty display company, Laney fills a long-anticipated role at the company, officials say. DP officials say the company has invested more than two years developing new products and capabilities specifically for the visualization and simulation markets. Laney will help further develop these channel-specific display solutions, as well as manage and support DP's simulation and visualization channels.

"Phil has been involved in the precision display industry for more than 14 years, with a specific focus on the simulation and visualization markets. He is acutely familiar with the highest performance projection technologies, as well as the wide array of components that go into creating superior display solutions for these fascinating applications."
