AV integrator AVI-SPL has teamed up with Glowpoint to offer managed videoconferencing services for AVI-SPL customers. The ConferencePoint service, powered by Glowpoint, enhances AVI-SPL's current room build and integration, customer care, and onsite staffing businesses by adding comprehensive managed service support for both video and telepresence environments.
AV integrator AVI-SPL has teamed up with Glowpoint, a provider of video communications solutions, to offer exclusive managed videoconferencing services for AVI-SPL customers, the company said. The ConferencePoint service, powered by Glowpoint, enhances AVI-SPL's current room build and integration, customer care, and onsite staffing businesses by adding comprehensive managed service support for both traditional video and telepresence environments, according to AVI-SPL officials.
ConferencePoint provides the following three customized levels of managed video services described by the company:
- VNOC Managed Services. Comprehensive monitoring, room management and scheduling, call launching, 24/7 help desk, and performance reporting for telepresence and HD/SD video environments.
- Connect and ConnectPlus. Quality of Service (QoS) connectivity, dialing plans, "ease-of-use" features, and necessary HD and SD videoconferencing support.
- Conferencing Services. Multipoint videoconferencing, bridging, and streaming, with inbound reservations and comprehensive support.
AVI-SPL's customers will have exclusive access to the ConferencePoint series through a customer portal and via live, 24/7 conferencing production and support teams. The service allows customers to see and talk to almost anyone worldwide, regardless of network, technology, or device.
