AVI-SPL Earns Cisco Specialization

National AV integrator AVI-SPL achieved the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco, the company said. The specialization recognizes AVI-SPL as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support comprehensive Cisco Unified Communications solutions.

"This achievement demonstrates our commitment to broadening our capabilities and giving us the ability to help our customers design and deploy Unified Communications [UC] across their organizations," said Doug Carnell, vice president of the Cisco practice at AVI-SPL, in a statement. "UC is the key milestone in our aggressive effort to achieve Cisco ATP certification this quarter."

According to the company, the Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization is designed to help Cisco resale channel partners meet a wide range of customer needs. It allows partners to focus on UC market opportunities that require advanced product knowledge and the ability to deploy solutions over multiple sites and geographies.
