AMX Appoints Schafer

AMX appointed Gary Schafer as its vice president of regional sales for the central United States. Schafer comes to AMX with over 20 years of software industry experience in sales and customer relationship management. His responsibilities at AMX will include developing and executing the company's sales strategy in the central region, from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River, identifying and responding to key market trends, and working closely with the AMX sales channel to meet and exceed projected revenue goals. Previously at InterDyn Corp., a Microsoft Business Solutions global partner, Schafer was vice president of sales and marketing.
