Wireless Mic Systems: AKG Perception Wireless

AKG introduced its Perception Wireless microphone systems with bandwidths up to 30 MHz and support for up to 8 channels per band. It comes in 4 flavors: vocal, instrumental, sports, and presentation.

AKG’s Perception Wireless microphone systems have bandwidths up to 30 MHz and support up to eight channels per band. The system comes in four flavors: vocal, instrumental, sports, and presenter (pictured). All but the vocal set has a PT 45 pocket transmitter that runs on a AA battery. (The vocal set has an HT 45 handheld transmitter.) All four come with an AKG SR 45 stationary receiver with a diversity system, professional XLR and jack outputs, and a switched-mode power supply. The presenter set comes with a CK 99 L lavaliere mic, while the sports set has a new C 544 wireless headset that borrows its capsule and acoustics from the AKG C 555 and comes with a pro mini XLR connector. 818-920-3237. www.akg.com.
