AVI-SPL Appoints Biz Dev Manager for Education

National AV integrator AVI-SPL announced the addition of Denise Kessler as director of business development for the education market. Based at AVI-SPL's headquarters in Tampa, Kessler brings extensive experience from working with manufacturers Smart Technologies and InFocus.

Most recently, Kessler was the Florida area manager for Smart Technologies and prior to that, she held the role of territory account manager for InFocus for the Gulf region. As director of business development for the education market, Kessler will focus on building and maintaining key relationships in the education system in order to grow the company's business within the market, according to the company.

"Denise possesses a deep understanding of the Florida education market as well as important relationships with key decision-makers throughout the region," said Robert Moss, vice president of education sales at AVI-SPL, in a statement. "Her experience and leadership will further our understanding of the politics and processes that affect the technology decisions made by our largest school districts."

"One of my goals is to build upon our service, training, and professional development offerings for our customers," said Kessler in a statement. "During my time at SMART, I was frequently asked for more in-depth support. In my new role with AVI-SPL, I'll now be able to deliver to our customers what they need."
