IP Speakers: Barix Exstreamer P5
Barix's Exstreamer P5 amplified IP decoder turns nearly any 8-ohm speaker into an IP speaker solution for playing audio over a network.
At Integrated Systems Europe, Barix showed the Exstreamer P5 amplified IP decoder, which turns nearly any 8-ohm speaker into an IP speaker solution for playing audio over a network. It has some of the same features as Barix’s Annuncicom two-way IP audio devices, including power over Ethernet support and class D amplification. Exstreamer P5 supports universal IP standards, including TCP/IP, RTP, SIP, Multicast, and Ethersound. It works with Barix’s BCL software for creating custom IP audio applications, such as audio relay and low-latency streaming. It can operate in high-temperature environments and enables zoning for multispeaker systems with local and remote channel selection and volume control. 866-815-0866. www.barix.com.
