Meyer Promoted to Pelco President and CEO

Dean Meyer has replaced David L. McDonald as president and CEO of Pelco, a developer and manufacturer of video security systems. Meyer's responsibilities include continuing the transition and organizational refocus of the company's merger with Schneider Electric as well as seeing through business and value-creation opportunities. Meyer joined Pelco as COO in November 2007 and was president of TAC Americas, a Schneider Electric subsidiary, for seven years. McDonald, who served as Pelco's president and CEO for 20 years, will remain with the company as chairman of the board.
