RF Central offers the RFX-PMR-11, a portable digital receiver that is available in both standard-definition and high-definition configurations. Designed for quick set-up for ENG and field applications, the receiver is also weather resistant, the company says. The PMR-II offers manual or preset channels with tuning in 0.25 MHz steps and can receive frequencies between 1.90 and 2.50 GHz. When configured for HD content, it supports 1080i and 720p formats as well as SD modes. Demodulations modes include QPSK, 16 QAM, and 64 QAM with auto detection.
