The PRO AV 60: Eight AV Consultants

If anyone in this industry can be said to be ahead of the curve on green AV issues, it's consultants. This is in large part because of their frequent interactions with building architects, who, as you might imagine, think about things like LEED certification and sustainable design almost around the clock. These eight firms are heaving on LEED AP certifications.

Interested in all things Sustainable AV? Talk to an AV consultant. If anyone in this industry can be said to be ahead of the curve on green AV issues, it's consultants. This is in large part because of their frequent interactions with building architects, who, as you might imagine, think about things like LEED certification and sustainable design almost around the clock. One west coast AV consultant, who has the ear of architects when it comes to integrating AV, said she's in a hurry to get her LEED AP accreditation in large part because her achitect partners expect her to speak their language.

Several of the following PRO AV 60 consultants have LEED AP designers on staff. One in particular, Acoustic Dimensions, has made it the company's mission to have as many LEED APs under its roof as possible.
