OmniMount launched its new HM1, a flat-panel furniture mount for displays up to 37 inches. The company said it's their first product offering targeted specifically to the hospitality market.

OmniMount said its new HM1 is designed for situations where wall-mounting a flat panel isn't preferred or possible. An adjustable swivel base stops at 0, 45, or 90 degrees in one or both directions to prevent wall or wire damage.

The HM1 is designed with a small footprint and self-concealing hardware for a clean appearance and has all Delrin bearings so the flat-panel is sure to rotate smoothly. Integrated cable management hides wires from panel through VESA mounting plate, which is designed with numerous 8 mm holes and center cut-outs for greater panel compatibility and choice in panel placement. A media device or optional security box can mount directly on back of the VESA mounting plate and security hardware along with padlock compatibility prevents tampering or theft.

"Our commercial division is very focused on fulfilling the AV accessory needs of the hospitality market," said Hal Truax, the director of the commercial division for OmniMount, in a statement. "This product is only one of many custom pieces we're developing that installers need for mass installs in hotels, restaurants, and bars."

The HM1 is designed to be assembled quickly and ships with a complete Grade 5 hardware kit to fit any surface thickness (0.5 to 3.5 inches). An optional 4-inch retention collar for additional height is available as an accessory.
