The new employees joining CEI are senior design engineer Tim Caldecott; senior systems support engineer Mel Berry, Jr.; design engineer Jeremy Zavik; and sales account manager Jennifer Helmrich.

"Although it's common in today's economy for companies in all industries to make cutbacks, we're fortunate to have the demand from our clients that actually requires additional staff," said CEI president and CEO Lawrence Brody in a statement. "We're also very pleased to be able to bring in such a highly skilled and talented group of professionals, whose extensive backgrounds will allow them to provide quality service to our customers right away."

He previously served as a systems support engineer for Autodesk, working with customers using discreet advanced effects and various editing systems. Prior to that, he was senior field engineer for Philips Digital Video Systems, providing field service and installations of broadcast video servers in customer sites worldwide.

Zavik has a broad spectrum of experience and education in broadcast and film engineering, production, and support, spanning more than 15 years. He comes to CEI from Digital Video Group, where he served as a digital media technician, providing service and technical support for clients and sales staff.
