At Digital Signage Expo, ViewSonic Corp. announced eight digital signage products, including a new line of e-Posters.

This week at Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, ViewSonic Corp. announced eight digital signage products, including a new line of e-Posters.

The 32-inch EP3201, 46-inch EP4602, 52-inch EP5202, and 70-inch EP7002 are all-glass, point-of-sale electronic signboards designed for storefronts, showrooms, and other retail applications. Company officials said content could be downloaded to e-Posters through USB ports or via a network using the RJ-45 ports.

ViewSonics said e-Posters would be available in the second quarter, starting at $799 MSRP.

The company also rolled out several new commercial displays. The ViewSonic 42-inch CD4225 offers a slim bezel design for public information displays. It offers 1080p resolution, 8-millisecond response time, and VGA and RS-232 inputs for daisy chaining multiple displays to a network while still maintaining individual controls.

The 42-inch CD4230T adds touch capabilities using 3M's MicroTouch Dispersive Signal Technology (DST) Touch System. Company officials said the CD4230T's scratch-resistant, glass surface and slim 14mm bezel, make it suitable for installations in mall kiosks, corporate directories, hotel lobbies, and public information applications.

The 52-inch CD5230 includes internal support for videowalls up to 5x5. The CD4225 and CD5230 are currently available for MSRPs of $1,299 and $3,995, respectively. The touch-based CD4230T will be available in March for an MSRP of $3,495, according to the company.

Finally, ViewSonic is shipping the 10-inch CD1010 small-format commercial digital display for applications such as retail display cabinets or restaurant tabletops. It comes with 802.11g wireless connectivity and is Scala-certified to connect with the Scala digital signage network. The CD1010 also comes with ViewSonic's Signage Manager Express software, which allows users to create play lists and stream digital media content via wired or wireless connections. It is currently available for an MSRP of $349.
