Clear-Com Brings On New Global Leader

Clear-Com Communication Systems, a brand of the Vitec Group, welcomed Bob Romero as its new global customer operations director. In his new position, Romero will lead and manage the company's worldwide service and support teams, including the application engineering, technical support, and service and repair teams based in the United States and United Kingdom. He will also be responsible for developing a clear strategy to better service Clear-Com customers and improve customer satisfaction at all levels of the company's product experience.

“This is an exciting time for Clear-Com Communication Systems,” said Romero. “The focus and mission for the company, and specifically my team, are to excel in our 'Customer Delight Program' and I'm honored to be a part of the team.”

Romero spent nearly 20 years working in the worldwide communications hardware and software industries. Former employers include Chemoil Corp., Bank of America, Ascend Communications, Alcatel-Lucent, Vpacket Communications (now a part of Zhone Technologies), and IP Infusion. Most recently, at Advent Software, Romero built a team to support the company's next-generation financial management software portfolio.
