The National Systems Contractor Association (NSCA) announced details of its 2009 Business & Leadership Conference, produced in association with InfoComm International and to be held Feb. 26-28, 2009 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. Formerly the Fall Business Conference, the new event will include world-class presenters and industry experts, networking events, and interactive sessions from AV professionals who've been through tough economic times before, according to NSCA.
John Bangs of AV/Com Integrators said in the past the business conference allowed him to take nuggets of information and apply them to his own business. "This conference makes you get away and actually think about your business instead of just reacting to your business; owners don't get a lot of that time," Bangs said.
"The Business & Leadership Conference represents far more than an opportunity to interact with others and attend sessions," said NSCA executive director Chuck Wilson, in a statement. "Especially now, when business owners are facing new economic challenges, incorporating new costs or trying to generate new business, this event provides a place where knowledge is freely exchanged and fresh perspectives are gained to deal with the current generation of problems we all face."
Attendees can customize their learning experience to focus on their specific needs, interests, and issues. Sessions will include:
InfoComm International executive director Randal A. Lemke said his association was pleased to be a part of the conference. "Over the years, this event has consistently demonstrated its value to those who attend and I am looking forward to being there," he said.
Conference fees are $899 if registered before November 5th, and $1,049 thereafter up until the day of the event.
