Wireless mic system

The 900ix wireless infrared (IR), four-channel microphone system from LightSpeed Technologies enables users to simultaneously operate lavalier and handheld microphones. The system consists of a transmitter, a receiver, and up to 12 wall/ceiling-mounted IR sensors for increased range in large-venue applications. It offers a 100 Hz to 12 kHz (±3 dB) frequency response with a dynamic range greater than 80 dB and 2.06/2.54 MHz IR carrier frequencies. Price: Systems start at $1,349. Network audio platform

Symetrix has introduced SymNet Designer 6.0, which adds acoustic echo canceling (AEC) functionality to the company's SymNet Network Audio DSP platform. Three AEC software modules, which perform at different bandwidths for teleconferencing, videoconferencing, or wideband conferencing, are available. Version 6.0 can run up to eight channels of AEC in any SymNet DSP device. The application also includes a control string output module, which enables the system to issue serial string commands to outboard devices over RS232. Power conditioner

ETA Systems has introduced the DPC-20NA, a rack-mount, isolation transformer-based power line conditioner. Rated at 20 amps (2.4 kVA), the unit is designed to power 120 V systems. It offers RMS voltage and current meters, and is available with optional overvoltage and undervoltage protection. The 3RU power conditioner fits in a standard 19-inch rack. Price: N/A. Acoustical treatment products

Acoustical Solutions' AlphaResilient Isolation Chips and AudioSeal Sound Barrier acoustical treatment products are designed to achieve high sound transmission class ratings with new or existing wall, ceiling, or floor construction. When used together, the products reach an STC rating of 58 and add 1 7/8 inches of thickness to a surface, according the company. The AudioSeal is a limp-mass material made of high-temperature-fused vinyl without lead fillers. The AlphaResilient Isolation Chips decouple the wall construction, floating the drywall off the studs. Component/Cat5e hybrid cable

Gepco International's Component Video and Cat5e Hybrid Cable is designed for commercial AV applications that require distribution of high-resolution component video with Cat5e for IP-addressable devices or displays. The cable's coaxial elements feature the company's 23-gage, solid miniature HDTV coax, which offers 3 GHz bandwidth, gas-injected dielectric, and a dual foil and braid shield.
