Multi-format video signal generator

The SG5070 SDI-HD/SDI video signal generator from Telecast Fiber Systems is designed to test fiber and copper transmission paths and identify signals in the field. The generator produces four different video test patterns in seven HD formats and six SDI formats. In addition to standard 75-ohm outputs, the SG5070 features optional fiber optic ST connector outputs for direct-to-optical testing, which enables users to establish and verify high-bandwidth HD transport through an existing fiber network. Digital mixing console

Yamaha's 32- and 48-channel M7CL mixing consoles are targeted for use in houses of worship, mid-sized theaters, and nightclubs. The M7CL features four stereo inputs, three mini-YGDAI expansion card slots, 16 mix buses, eight matrix buses, a left-center-right bus, eight DCAs, and 16 omni outputs. Each of the console's selected input channels provides channel name and icon strip, insert and direct-out select keys, input gain, four-band EQ, a high-pass filter, Dynamics 1 and 2, 16 mix sends, a channel plan, and stereo, mono, and bus assigns. Interactive presentation system

Designed for presentations in education, government, and business applications, Hitachi Software's T-17SXL pen-driven interactive system offers a 17-inch LCD display, SXGA resolution, and Hitachi's StarBoard software suite of presentation and collaboration tools. The system features a built-in video pass-through for connecting to projectors and computers without an external video splitting amplifier. The T-17SXL connects to a PC via USB link. Power amplifier

TCS Audio has released the TA4000 power amplifier, which is targeted for use in large venue tours and music performance halls. The amplifier offers 2,000 W per channel (4,000 W bridged), a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 100 dB, and a THD factor of less than 0.03 percent (20 Hz to 20 kHz @ 3 dB below clipping). The amplifier features the company's Constant Thermal Monitoring technology, which manages the unit's variable-speed fan. Price: $1,995. Availability: currently available. Microportable projector

Epson's PowerLite 76c microportable projector offers 2,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and native XGA (1024x768) resolution. The 5.7-pound LCD projector features the company's Instant Off shutdown technology, which eliminates the need for a cool-down period, and the Epson Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp, which is designed to reduce light leakage and diffraction, according to the company.
