Intercom system

Designed for hands-free duplex conversations, paging, and access control, Jeron's Spectrum 430-IP LAN Intercom System provides voice communication and signaling on a local area network (LAN) for master-to-master and master-to-substation internal intercom applications. The Spectrum 430-IP can be connected to an existing LAN to directly interface with fiber optic transceivers. The basic system incorporates a 430-IP Central Exchange, which is linked to IP-station hubs with digital or analog stations via a LAN. AV cart

Da-Lite Screen Co. has released the Advance AT2C-42JFS AV cart, which includes an 18- by 24-inch top shelf designed for use with televisions and monitors that measure up to 20 inches. The 32- to 42-inch-high cart has a slide-out keyboard tray, two flip-down shelves, and a locking storage cabinet with ventilation slots. The Advance AT2C-42JFS features a black powder coated finish. Video controller

Designed for multi-room events with large screens that use soft edge blending technology, Analog Way's Axion controller can control up to six screen configurations and multiple Analog Way iX Hi-Res Seamless Switchers, including the Di Ventix, Eventix, Natix, or Centrix. The controller features a 7-inch WXGA color touchpanel, USB connection, customizable and configurable presets, and a joystick with direct effects access. Presentation software

The StarBoard Software version 7.1 interactive presentation software from Hitachi Software features deferred handwriting recognition, which allows users to change handwriting into text and control the timing of the change. Other features include: TWAIN support, which allows users to import image captures from the TWAIN device into StarBoard Software; an MSI Installer, which automatically deploys the software from a network server; and Projector Control, which allows users to control a projector on a network. Composite and HDMI cables

Liberty Wire & Cable has introduced the LibertyLinx Control Cables and DigitaLinx HDMI Cables (pictured here). LibertyLinx composite control cables are designed to establish AV and data distribution runs, balance audio and video signals, enable broadband dual-DSS distribution, remotely control web browsers, and operate window treatments. DigitaLinx HDMI cables transmit HDMI 1.3 signals at resolutions up to 1080p. Targeted for use in corporate and commercial installations, Genelec has released the AIW25 Active In-Wall Loudspeaker, the AIC25 Active In-Ceiling Loudspeaker, and the AOW312 Active On-Wall Loudspeaker (pictured here). The AIW25 and AIC25 feature matched, separate RAM2 remote amplifier modules, which can be used with a 4U-high RAM rack adapter to accommodate up to 8 RAM amplifiers. The AIW25 is a two-way active speaker with a 5-inch bass driver and 3/4-inch treble driver equipped with the company's Directivity Control Waveguide technology. The AIC25 is a two-way active loudspeaker with a 5-inch bass driver and 3/4-inch treble driver. Multi-image processor and router

Miranda Technologies' Kaleido-X multi-image processor and router can display 96 HD, SD, or analog inputs an unlimited number of times in any size across eight displays of any resolution and orientation. Outputs can be grouped or independently controlled. As a router, the device can switch 96 unprocessed inputs to 48 HD/SD outputs. Acoustical treatment system

The SonoSuede Pro System from Auralex Acoustics is a do-it-yourself room treatment system aimed at professional and home recording studio applications. The SonoSuede system consists of four 16- by 48- by 2-inch back-beveled panels for corner trapping, and eight 16- by 48- by 1-inch rectangular back-beveled panels, for a total of 64 square feet. Home theater projectors

Planar has released the PD8110 home theater projector, which features 1920x1080 native resolution, 1,200 lumens of brightness, and an 8,000:1 contrast ratio. It incorporates DLP technology, a short throw lens, and horizontal and vertical lens shift. The company's PD7150 720p projector has 1,000 lumens of brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. LCD display

NEC Display Solutions of America has introduced the MultiSync CD3735WXM widescreen, large-format LCD display, which incorporates an ATSC high-definition TV tuner, and VGA, DVI, and HDCP video connectivity. The monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio, 9 ms response time, a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, and 1366x768 native resolution. The display's speakers and base are detachable.
