AV system design software

Altinex has introduced its AVSnap v2.7.0 AV system design and integration software. The software's Internet Meeting function enables up to 128 users to simultaneously communicate and view AVSnap drawings and project libraries in real time. HD videoconferencing solutions

Tandberg's Centric 1700 MXP desktop videoconferencing solution (pictured here) includes an integrated high-definition camera and a 20-inch flat-screen monitor that switches between PC functions and videoconferencing capabilities. The company has also released its Edge Series 95 MXP, 85 MXP, and 75 MXP group videoconferencing solutions, which are designed to turn any flat screen into an interactive videoconferencing system. Surge protector

Lowell Manufacturing has introduced the ACSPR-RPC1-1509 surge protector with auto-reset over/under-voltage protection and remote power control. The unit provides EMI/RFI filtering, and defeats surges up to 72,000 Amps. The surge protector features the company's Voltage Tolerance Envelope circuitry, which includes an auto-reset feature that turns off all receptacles when the line voltage exceeds 140 V or drops below 100 V. It also includes Lowell's Remote Power Control circuitry to enable on/off switching via external DSP timed events. Multimode router control panel

Utah Scientific's UCP-MM multimode router control panel includes 16 input selector buttons — each with eight-character LCD display, and four high-resolution touchscreen LCD displays. Mackie has introduced the SWA2801z active subwoofer, which includes dual 18-inch drivers, a built-in 800 W FR Series power amplifier, and the company's active onboard electronics.
