has released the static (VSM-ST), tilt (VSM-TL), and articulating (VSM-AR1 and VSM-AR2) VESA monitor mounts, which are designed to accommodate most flat-panel displays with VESA standard mounting holes. The mounts support displays that weigh up to 40 pounds and measure up to 40 inches diagonal, depending on the display's weight. The articulating mount is available with an 11-inch (VSM-AR1) or 20-inch (VSM-AR2) extension. The tilt mount provides 5 degrees of negative tilt and 20 degrees of positive tilt. Targeted for use with flat-panel displays, the Masterpiece LCR loudspeakers from Artison
feature the company's G-LCR Grilles and Universal Mounting Bracket. includes a transmitter and a receiver. The solution transmits HDMI signals over twisted pair cabling such as Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat7. The device supports digital video, multichannel audio, and control signals from HDMI-equipped devices. According to the company, the HDMI 201 Tx/Rx can transmit HDTV signals more than 200 feet, and send computer video signals more than 100 feet at UXGA (1600x1200) resolution. Optoma's HD81 DLP projector features 1080p resolution, 1,400 lumens of brightness, and a 6,000:1 contrast ratio. The projector includes Texas Instruments' DarkChip3 DMD chipset, as well as its BrilliantColor color technology. The T4 handheld universal controller from Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI)
features a 6.4-inch touch-sensitive, VGA, active color LCD display. The display supports motion JPEG video, custom buttons, graphics, and animations. The controller features 13 color-changeable, removable keys. The T4 includes a 400 MHz, 32-bit processor and is customizable with the company's TheaterTouch Designer software. AC extension system
Furman Sound has introduced the MAX In-Wall PowerKit-TL in-wall AC extension system, which enables users to discreetly connect remote equipment back to a system's power conditioning unit, such as when a plasma display or subwoofer needs to be connected to a rack in the rear of a space. The PowerKit includes the company's Power Inlet Faceplate and Power Outlet Faceplate, a 50-foot ground-rated, in-wall power cable, and a 12-foot AC power cord. Hybrid component video cables
Gepco International has introduced the RGB62 Series and RGB644 Series Hybrid Component Video Cables, which are designed to distribute high-resolution component video as well as audio and power in commercial AV applications. The RGB62 Series includes six miniature coaxial elements with two balanced audio pairs, and the RGB644 Series offers six miniature coaxial elements with four balanced audio pairs and four power conductors. Both models are available in plenum and non-plenum versions. The coaxial elements include a precision diameter conductor, low-loss gas-injected dielectric, and dual foil and braid shield.
