AKG’s newest mic mixer is the DMM 4/2/4 that is designed with a mixing algorithm with a Last-Mic-On and Best-Mic-On functions. The mixer comes with four microphone and two stereo aux inputs, mixing algorithms with a noise-sensitive threshold to prevent accidental activiation of input channels, and a digital signal processor with a dbx compressor. Each channel offers switchable gain, switchable phantom power, and control with peak hold display. They also come with expansion connectors that allow multiple mixers to link together for larger setups. All functions run through incremental controls on the front panel, which uses a control concept similar to the company’s DMM 4/2/2. Other features include headphone output and PC interface.
