Registration Begins for InfoComm 2010

InfoComm International last week began accepting registrations for InfoComm 2010, to be held June 9-11, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Officials said the annual trade show will showcase integrated display, projection, audio, conferencing, lighting and staging, digital signage, and communications system solutions.

Officials said the annual trade show will showcase integrated display, projection, audio, conferencing, lighting and staging, digital signage, and communications system solutions.

"Attending InfoComm's tradeshow is a valuable investment in both time and money," said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., executive director of InfoComm International, in a statement. "In just a few days you can visit the most comprehensive array of professional audio, digital signage, display, conferencing and telepresence, lighting, control system and signal distribution technology manufacturers available in one location, all while receiving world-class education and training from leading experts and manufacturers."

According to InfoComm, more than 900 exhibitors will be visited by more than 32,000 commercial AV professionals, technology managers, chief information officers and procurement personnel from 90 countries. The InfoComm 2010 conference, which will run June 5-11, will include more than 300 education sessions.

InfoComm 2010 will feature a variety of pavilions designed to bring together like technologies, including 3D, Audio, Digital Signage, Lighting & Staging, and United Collaborative Conferencing pavilions. A new Test & Measurement Pavilion will showcase manufacturers of hardware and software tools used in the design and testing of audiovisual systems. Demonstrations will show these devices being used to verify InfoComm Performance Standards, according to InfoComm officials.

InfoComm 2010 will also feature new special exhibits addressing sustainability, 3D technology, and camera production. In addition, audio demo rooms, rigging and staging demonstrations, the Digital Signage Application Showcase, the Systems Programming & GUI Design Gallery, and the Technologies for Worship Pavilion are all returning to the show.
