In this edition of the AV Over Fiber podcast, Sound & Video Contractor Contributing Editor Bennett Liles continues with part two of his conversation with Jim Hayes, president of the Fiber Optic Association. They discuss the importance of standards in the implementation of fiber-optic systems and dispel some of the common myths surrounding the field use of fiber and relative costs between copper based and fiber-based transmission systems.
