In churches today, there is an ongoing need to control the volume of an acoustic drum kit, which in turn necessitates an electronic set to be considered. One of the main concerns of most drummers was the ability to obtain a "real feel" out of electronic drums, as many utilize a mesh or rubber playing surface. In an attempt to satisfy the drummer and the sound engineer, R.E.T. Percussion first created the Natural Series custom shop electronic drum kits in 2000. This second generation, called The Natural Series 2 (NS2), is designed for all types of worship music and gives drummers the look and feel they have always wanted, while giving the sound engineer control over the volume of the drums.

Using real drumheads with a 13in. playing surface, the R.E.T. NS2 triggering system truly gives the same feel as an acoustic kit, but with the sounds and benefits of an electronic kit. R.E.T. uses a unique muffling system that cuts stick noise levels by 60 decibels and gives the drummer more natural dynamics and stick bounce. R.E.T.'s NS2 technology takes full advantage of the latest modules with dual tom triggering and locking Neutrik connectors for the best connection in the industry.

R.E.T. Percussion is now exclusively using Smartrigger cymbals with every NS2 kit. Smartrigger offers electronic cymbals featuring quiet brass-alloy playing surfaces, authentic cymbal playability, feel, swing, and responsiveness, along with superior triggering. Their patent-pending electronic cymbals are made from real metal cymbals laminated to a special clear acoustic dampening layer to produce an electronic cymbal that looks and feels like a real acoustic cymbal without the acoustic cymbal sound.

R.E.T. Percussion's mission is to bring you the best of both worlds by combining acoustic and electronic drum products through custom shop features and designs. The NS2 is an electronic drum set that is designed for church, home, studio, and stage. These beautiful, hand-stained shells come in six shades or can be custom-stained to another of your choice. The rack is double-braced and sturdy enough to take the kit on the road, folding down for easy transport. A rack extension is available for adding toms and cymbals to your kit.

Each R.E.T. Percussion instrument is hand built by highly skilled craftsman that are committed to creating beautiful, quality electronic instruments. R.E.T. Percussion backs their products with a one-year warranty and a custom shop certificate of authenticity. For more information, please visit www.retpercussion.us.
