HAVE, Inc. announces innovative flat eight-pair audio snake cable

HAVE, Inc. unveils a real audio snake cable design breakthrough with its groundbreaking new Flexygy FL8 flat eight-pair snake cable. "Flexygy 8 was designed by our engineers to lay flat, stable, and out of the way," says Paul Swedenburg, HAVE's VP of operations, "and to perform great in any audio situation. This new cable is perfect for stage, auditorium, home studio, and remote truck use."
Flexygy FL8's flat topography is a real standout. "The only flat audio snake in the industry," says Swedenburg. The cable can run under carpets, doors and fixtures, and is resistant to movement, unlike regular round snake cable. "Its robust matte jacket," adds Swedenburg, "is also totally lead- and cadmium-free, meeting California's Prop 65 and forthcoming European standards, making this cable a more environmentally responsible product. That's very important to us." An added feature of its flat design is that the cable takes up less space on portable reels, as well as less space in studio wire-ways and trenches. And it's easy to strip.
Flexygy FL8's performance comes from its 24 AWG (7/32) bare annealed copper conductor pairs, with 24 AWG drain wire. Each pair is individually numbered and color-coded, and features 100 percent aluminum/polyester tape shielding, offering very low capacitance of less than 25 pF/ft between conductors. Conductor DC resistance is also very low at less than 25ohms/1000'.
Flexygy FL8 is available now in 500-ft. (153m) reels and 25-ft. increment cuts. HAVE plans to release soon a new, exclusive lineup of DB25 and eight-channel audio snake cable assemblies made with Flexygy FL8 cable.
