Grass Roots Software, a leader in presentation and multimedia solutions for church communicators, today announced a new version of SundayPlus, the company's affordable and easy-to-use worship presentation software. Featuring broadcast-quality text titling, digital photo retouching tools, and increased stability, SundayPlus 2.4 is powerful presentation software that enables church media directors to create visually rich presentations for any size congregation.

"We are committed to providing volunteer-friendly software. Using SundayPlus, church media directors create visually compelling presentations, regardless of technical skill set," said Lou Douros, president of Grass Roots Software. "SundayPlus 2.4's intuitive interface, drag-and-drop functionality and reliable playback make it simple for volunteers to enlarge the worship experience."

"We are tremendous fans of SundayPlus," said Ed Nikander, video production assistant at Phoenix First Assembly of God Church. "We use it for our weekly church services and Tommy Barnett's Pastors and Workers School, our annual church leaders training conference, and have found it to be an invaluable tool for presenting words for songs and enhancing scriptures and important messages for our audience."

SundayPlus was originally developed to coordinate graphics support with live speakers and musicians for the renowned Promise Keepers’ events. SundayPlus is a robust presentation solution for church communicators who want to control nonlinear live presentations, digital images, text, video playback, Flash, sound files, and PowerPoint. Preloaded with 170 images, 700 hymns, two Bible translations (KJV and ASV), and 24 moving backgrounds, SundayPlus can be used for a wide variety of worship venues, ranging from large churches with full-scale audio and video setups to small churches working with linear presentation applications such as PowerPoint.

Some of the new and improved features in SundayPlus 2.4: Broadcast-quality text titling with Microsoft-compatible fonts and pixel-to-pixel color matching allows for flexibility and creativity when developing titles. The new text editor creates more flexibility through fine-grain margins and some of the best font tools in its class.

Integrated Photo Ops includes enhanced photo-retouching and image-editing tools, such as transforms and color correction, giving users more options to create presentation imagery without needing to learn or launch Photoshop. Sharable Photo Ops treatments can be applied to multiple files at once, simplifying the process of enhancing digital images.

Improved workflow features include an onboard spell checker preloaded with common Bible names and places and suggestions for misspelled words. Text can be dragged from outside programs, including Web browsers and PDF files, directly to the text editor. The GoFile feature allows users to transfer presentations among multiple computers; this functionality, combined with SundayPlus' automatic site license, make it a perfect solution for ministries dependent on volunteers.

Increased integration allows media directors to download any of the thousands of CCLI SongSelect Online lyrics and integrate them instantly into SundayPlus. Since portions of SundayPlus are based on Apple QuickTime technology, almost any multimedia file generated on a Macintosh plays natively on the PC version of SundayPlus 2.4. SundayPlus will preserve itself when instability in the operating system threatens the live presentation.

SundayPlus 2.4 is available now starting at USD $399. Current SundayPlus version 2.3 customers can upgrade to version 2.4 free of charge. Founded in 1997, Grass Roots Software manufactures affordable and dynamic presentation solutions that empower church communicators to create visually rich presentations, regardless of AV configuration, technical skill set or congregation size.
