During this year's NSCA Expo, AMX bolstered its support of NSCA with a $25,000 contribution to the organization's Education Foundation and its continuing education efforts for commercial electronic systems professionals.

“Our gift will go a long way in helping NSCA Education Foundation's continuing education initiatives, which are equally important to AMX in the fast-paced, ever-changing technology world we live in,” says Jeff Kindig, director, marketing, AMX. “With our $25,000 donation, AMX is doing our part to ensure that individuals wanting to begin learning or expand their knowledge of the audio/video industry have access to first-rate education.”

AMX is a worldwide manufacturer of advanced control and automation technology for commercial and residential markets. The company's products enable users to centrally manage, control and automate audio/video, environmental and communications technologies, thereby simplifying what would otherwise be a complicated process.

“It is an honor to have such a progressive company as AMX join us in our commitment to support the education initiatives of the industry,” says Tony Price, president, NSCA Education Foundation. “Support of these initiatives is crucial in preparing our industry members for future technological and business changes.”

The efforts of the Foundation are most well known for their support of the EST initiative and funding participation of industry participants in education programs. The funds raised by the Foundation will be used towards tuition assistance in programs at the NSCA University and regional training programs such as EST and Project Management. Additional programs include funding education for students entering the industry and the development of future educational programs.
