Definitive Technology's UIW RCS II Brings Freestanding Speaker Performance

Definitive’s UIW RCS II loudspeaker is designed to bring freestanding speaker performance to custom flush-mount in-wall and in-ceiling applications. The RCS II can be used around the horn in a surround sound installation as either front, center, side or rear speakers or as left and right speakers in a stereo system. Cutout size is 14 3/8in. square with outer dimensions of 15 1/2 in. square. Depth is 5 7/8 inches. Drivers include two cast-basket 5 1/2in. bass/midrange units, a pair of 6 1/2in. pressure-coupled low-bass radiators and a 1in. aluminum dome tweeter. Frequency response is given as 22,000Hz to 30,000Hz.
