Danley Sound Labs introduces a new downfill loudspeaker—the SH-DFA—to its popular SH series. This new asymmetrical full-range horn is designed to seamlessly integrate with the SH-50 loudspeaker series. The SH-DFA fits the exact footprint of the SH-50 and is only 9in. high, with a coverage pattern of 50x100x50. Designed to maintain considerable pattern control due to its depth, the SH-DFA is a unique problem-solving product.

All the models in the SH series are high-output, fully horn-loaded, loudspeakers that perform exceptionally well without the need for additional, expensive signal processing. The groundbreaking SH-50 technology combines two unique Danley technologies—the Tapped Horn and the Synergy Horn, both patent-pending designs—for low-frequency pattern control, high audio quality, seamless arrayability, and low-frequency extension. Each model is also available as a powered option using Class D audiophile power and onboard DSP.

The SHA-DFA is ideal for houses of worship, live performance venues, discos, performing art centers and commercial theater surround sound.

Tom Danley’s innovative designs have been used in projects ranging from ground-zero bombing simulation, jet engine active noise cancellation, and sonic boom generators to critical-listening mastering studios, high-end home theater, and houses of worship around the world.
