LOUDSPEAKER

MTX Audio's Monitor series loudspeaker system features four new models for home theater audio systems. Most of the models feature poly-woofers in a D'appolito array for exceptional imaging. A D'appolito array is a high-end, specific, mid-tweeter-mid (MTM) driver configuration that uses controlled vertical dispersion (CVD) to reduce unwanted reflections from the floor and ceiling through the use of offset drivers, crossover frequency, and slope. With the dual woofers in a common, vented enclosure, the series has lower extension, higher power handling, and higher efficiency than a single-woofer speaker.
