Califone CS308 speakers are designed with a frequency response that's optimal for vocal reproduction and multimedia presentations. The speakers feature flush-mount installation and paintable grilles. The UL fire-rated ABS plastic construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. The included 18 AWG steel-tile bridge fits standard 24’’x24’’ or 24’’x48’’ panels. The driver complement of a 6.5in. polypropylene with Mica cone and 1in. tweeter provide a frequency response of 45Hz to 20kHz.
Community Professional’s D6 two-way, 6.5in. high-output ceiling loudspeaker system is part of the Distributed Design Series and features an operating range of 65Hz to 22kHz with a maximum output of 120dB SPL peak. The 1in. exit HF driver is coupled to a Tru-Phase HF waveguide. The speaker provides conical coverage of 125 degrees (500Hz to 6kHz). Input is via loop-through Euroblock connectors with selectable 8Ω and 70V/100V operation. The speaker comes in a paintable black or white finish.
Designed for installation in a 2’x2’ or 2’x4’ suspended ceiling grid, Crestron’s FSDI8 drop-in ceiling speakers comprises an 8in. full-range driver with a secondary high-frequency cone, which provides a frequency response of 85 Hz to 18 kHz and a 100 degree coverage pattern. The enclosed, plenum-rated system includes four seismic attachment points and support rail crossbar. The speakers come as pairs and feature a matte white finish.
For high ceilings, the Electro-Voice EVID C12.2 ceiling 12in., two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker system features a power handling of 100W (rms) at 8Ω. The 12in. coaxial driver provides a maximum calculated SPL of 126dB. The system also incorporates an integrated 3/8in. threaded rod and pendant mount-rigging points for open ceiling applications. The rear enclosure is designed for extended low-frequency performance and the speaker provides an overall frequency range of 65Hz to 20kHz.
It’s hip to be square with the Extron SF 228T two-way Soundfield ceiling tile speaker for installation in suspended ceilings. The 2’’x2’’ drop-in ceiling tile speaker features an UL 2043 plenum rated enclosure, a 1in. silk dome tweeter, and an 8in. long-throw with a tuned bass reflex port. The frequency response is 50Hz to 20kHz and coverage is 90 degrees, conical.
Holosonic Research Labs’ AS-16 Audio Spotlight is a 15.75’’x15.75’’ panel that provides a well-defined sound field for containing the sound to a specific area. Typical levels achieved are 80db SPL at a listening distance of 3.3ft. to 6.6ft. The dedicated amplifier accepts line level input via an RCA connector and output is through the included BNC coax 25ft. cable. The panel thickness is approximately 1/2in.
