LOUDSPEAKER

The self-powered UPQ-1P wide-coverage loudspeaker from Meyer Sound is the latest addition to the company's UltraSeries. UPQ-1P delivers a peak power output of 136dB SPL with low distortion, while offering flexible rigging options, wide vertical coverage, and gradual off-axis rolloff to accommodate a range of installation requirements. In a patented trapezoidal enclosure, it weighs in at 105lbs. and measures 19"×28"×18". The loudspeaker is distinguished by its 80-degree by 50-degree constant-Q horn, which provides uniform response throughout the wide coverage area and gentle high-frequency rolloff.

LOUDSPEAKER

The Atlantic Technology IWTS-4LCR is an in-wall loudspeaker that inherits much of the technology and installation simplicity of the company's high-end in-wall designs, but at a significantly lower cost. Incorporating the company's Low Resonance Tweeter technology, the IWTS-4LCR delivers wider midrange dispersion than conventional in-wall loudspeakers for greater placement flexibility, but without the acoustic and mechanical drawbacks of more conventional pivoting tweeter designs, according to the company.
