NEC V552 and V652 Display

NEC has added the 55in. V552 and 65in. V652 to its commercial-grade V series. The 1920x1080 full HD native resolution panel makes these models useful for extended operation times, including retail stores, restaurants, indoor venues, training facilities, and corporate boardrooms. Both displays use LED backlighting to reduce the product’s depth, weight, and power consumption. Each also features built-in 10W speakers and an Open Pluggable Specification (OPS)-compliant expansion slot. This future proofs the display and allows for the integration of a computer or other NEC/third-party accessories. Additionally, video, RS-232 control, and power are passed internally from the display to the accessory, eliminating the need for additional cabling and simplifying installations.

NanoLumens NanoSlim DS and NanoFlex DS Display

NanoLumens announces its new NanoSlim DS and NanoFlex DS (Design Specific) series LED displays. “The era of one-size-fits-all display solutions is over,” says NanoLumens President and CEO Rick Cope. “In a world where no two customers and no two environments are alike, no two digital signage solutions should ever be the same. Each installation is unique and therefore each solution must be designed specifically to meet the individual needs of the customer and the application environment. Our new NanoSlim DS and NanoFlex DS series displays allow each customer to imagine and create the ultimate digital experience in their environment for their audience.” To that end, NanoLumens has developed a manufacturing system that allows the company to manufacture large-format LED displays in any shape, size, or curvature as specified by the customer. All NanoLumens displays accept input from most devices and content management system.
