Spectrum Industries designed the Masters Interactive lectern with removable access panels in the front side of the unit that allow rear access to the gear inside. The rolling lectern can house a desktop computer with the monitor on a pivoting arm, as well as a slide-out keyboard. A ventilated roll-out drawer that slides out to the side of the lectern can hold a projector or document camera. The top surface in the 55250 model has a covered cutout suitable for an Extron Cable Cubby 600 along with a cable grommet next to the monitor arm post.

The Techpod multimedia lectern from Tecom Electronics is a sophisticated system with a microphone, visualizer camera, computer connections, and all controls built-in. When the side compartment is opened, everything turns on. The control panel offers source selection between computer, media player, projector, and visualizer, along with controls for sound, lights, and transport buttons for the built-in DVD/CD/VHS. An interactive screen lets the user make notations on the screen over whatever is being displayed, including Internet, PowerPoint, computer files, and DVDs. Additional options include motorized screen control module, extension cables and wheels, lighting control, and a decorative wooden cover.

Unveiled at InfoComm, Vaddio's new contemporary furniture systems for classrooms and videoconferencing applications includes Edge videoconferencing carts and Instrukt educational teaching stations. Both lines are designed to integrate modern form, function, and style for any classroom, boardroom, or training facility. Users can choose from a wide range of Edge equipment enclosures with shelving or 6RU/9RU rack rails. The optional camera-mounting systems for the Edge series provide a platform for the Vaddio ClearView HD-18, Polycom EagleEye, Tandberg Precision HD cameras, as well as a variety of other popular PTZ cameras on the market today.

Video Furniture International markets the PL3042 plasma display stand for mobile AV playback and videoconferencing with support for 42in. and 50in. plasma monitors. The top can fit one or two large flatpanel displays with a videocamera just above them, and the bottom area is divided into two compartments that can be fitted with 12RU rack rails. The CAM-Mount hardware is pre-installed for addition of the camera/codec. The unit has six casters, and the two bottom compartments have tinted glass doors. Without the rack rail option, adjustable shelves are standard-issue. It has a six-outlet power bar with a 10ft. cable.

The Sight-Line consoles from Winsted represent a highly customizable workstation or command center unit. Base console widths include 24in., 48in., and 72in. Available in black powder-coat finish, the consoles can lock together with a variety of corner fillers to build a custom system. The Versa-Trak monitor array system allows displays to be adjusted to fit any sight line and viewing angle, and the post-mounted VESA brackets let the user tilt and pivot monitors. Other features include the dual cable raceway, multipurpose locking doors, antitip extensions for stabilization, beveled TruForm work surface, and decorative end panels.
