Anyone shopping for lyric presentation systems for churches and other institutions soon discovers that most apps are designed for Windows-based gear, which of course are the most common ones out there. But if you're Mac-centric, check out version 3 of ProPresenter from Renewed Vision, completely rewritten to support OSX's universal binary, which works with older PowerPC systems as well as Intel-processor Macs.
With the video playback engine now completely integrated, the program quickly scales files to any size display, with support for HD text and video at up to 1280x1024 resolution. Video backgrounds can even be switched seamlessly within a song. The software comes bundled with songs, still images, and 56 third-party video clips.
